Day Seventeen

Today was my final day of my 17 Day Difference. I made dinner for my family and also unloaded the dishwasher. I know that I helped out a lot because my Mum and Dad could relax while I made the dinner. I know that I made a difference because they enjoyed the meal and thanked me.

I'm in such a habit now, I wish we didn't have to stop our great deeds. It has been fun and a great challenge to do a good deed everyday.

Day Sixteen

Today I made dinner for my family and I also unloaded the dishwasher. I know I helped out because my Mum and Dad said thank you.

Day Fifteen

Today when my friend Nicola's computer wasn't working well, I let her have my laptop because even though it would be helpful to have one, she needed more than I did. She reacted by thanking me.

Day Thirteen

Today, when some of my friends were struggling with Voice Thread, I helped them out first before I went on to do my work. I know I helped because they thanked me and looked relieved.

I also was kind to my Mum because we are reading the same book at same time and I let her read more even though I wanted the book.

Day Thirteen

Today I made a clip to go on the broadcast, and we needed a few extra people. I let most of my friends do it and I know that they had fun because they were happy and thanked me.

Day Twelve

Today when my Mum went to the grocery store, I offered to bring in more groceries than I was asked. I know I helped because if I hadn't done this then that would be more groceries to bring in for my Mum.

Day Eleven

Today when I was rollerblading with my friend, her rollerblade got stuck. I helped her get it fixed and she reacted by saying thanks.

Day Ten

Today when my parents and I were playing Scrabble, I offered to add up all the scores for the winner. I know I helped because if I hadn't done this, my parents would have had to.

Day Nine

Yesterday, I lent Alan my tennis ball because he lost his. I know I helped because he had lost his. He reacted by saying thank you.

Day Eight

Today I unloaded the dishwasher. I helped out my Mum because if I hadn't done this, it would be more work for her to do. She reacted by thanking me.

Day Seven

Today I cooked dinner for my Mum and I. My Dad is away in another country for a few days and it was nice to help out when my Mum had a lot to do. She really liked the stir fry and said thank you!

Day Six

Today I helped my Mum out when she was struggling with directions. She needed to get somewhere and didn't know the route, so I looked on Google Maps and mapped a route for her. I know that I helped because my Mum felt relieved that she now knew how to get there and said thank you.

Day Five

Today I emptied the dishwasher. I saved my Mum time by doing this, and she reacted by saying thank you.

Day Four

When my friends and I went to the movies, I offered to pay for all our drinks and popcorn. Mum said no thanks though, and if I had paid I would have saved my Mum's money.

Day Three

When my friend was struggling to get a sound on her flute, I taught her how to hold her mouth correctly. I also made her a sheet with notes and diagrams to help her understand the notes. I know that I helped because she said thank you.

Day Two, Friday, March 28

Today, I helped out by washing my Mum's dinner plate and cutlery. I know that I made a difference because if I hadn't done it, that would just be one more dish for her to wash.

Day One - Thursday, March 27th

Today, when Mrs Dada found a family of three struggling to find the Dental Clinic, I offered to walk with them to show the way. I know that I helped because they were very grateful and thanked me.
